Improve Your Eyesight with Eye Exercises!
Posted in: How to Improve Eyesight and tagged with: exercise, how-to, improve eyesight, tipsFor many people all over the world, poor eyesight has been treated as somewhat of a way of life – an unchangeable problem unless you have buckets of money and are willing to undergo a somewhat risky surgical process. Most of us with poor eyesight are stuck with using eye glasses or having to wear contacts – and all of the daily routines and maintenance that come with it.
But what if I told you all of that could be a thing of the past – that you could naturally improve your eyesight without needing any risky medications, going through risky and unpredictable surgeries, or even wasting more than 5 minutes of your day? Would you call me crazy? Maybe – but I’d be willing to bet that you’d at least be a little bit interested in the solution.
What causes the damage to our eyes?
In a nutshell, modern life causes much of the damage to our eye sight. We’ve become more and more accustomed to just bandaging the problem with glasses or contacts, rather than look for the real cure – and the boom in television sets and computer use certainly hasn’t helped out the cause. The reality is that in our modern lives our eyes are constantly under attack from multiple angles. This makes natural eye exercises even more critically important.
How to improve your eyesight – Tapping into the power of eye exercises
Before I go into the nuts and bolts of reclaiming your vision naturally, I need to be upfront about something. While the following eye exercises have been proven to be effective for helping restore and repair vision (sometimes even all the way back to 20/20), there is no 100% guarantee that this is going to work for you. Just like everything else in life, each and every person is unique and will respond differently to these exercises. The guidelines I lay down are just that – guidelines – and you should feel free to customize the routines to best fit your lifestyle and ongoing results. There are fantastic benefits to tapping into the power of natural eye exercises, and I hope you’ll at least give them a shot, but understand that not all vision problems can be corrected with these exercises alone.
Onward!
The eyes are just like every other part of your body – they need rest and recuperation after a days work to repair and strengthen themselves. But it’s also possible to build them up so that your days don’t seem as taxing through the use of eye exercise. Chances are that you’ve probably never done them before, but don’t worry – there have been mostly a top secret up until recently.
One of the most popular eye exercises (and something you can do even if you have the busiest schedule in the world) is called Palming. Palming gives your eyes a chance to rest and recuperate and can relieve even the worst cases of eye strain imaginable. Eye strain is one of the most common causes of head aches and extreme migraines, and if you’re able to kick those from your daily life you’ll probably be a whole lot calmer, relaxed, and productive.
Palming is super simple to do, and requires nothing more than your own hands. You’re going to want to start off by quickly rubbing your hands together to heat them up – this added heat is going to help relax your eye muscles, so make sure you do this first! Next you’re going to want to place your hands over your eyes, making sure that you block out all light possible. This is critically important, but you also want to make sure that you aren’t pressing your hands too hard into your eyes, as that is only going to cause even more aggravation and irritation. Now just rest your eyes with your palms covering them for a couple minutes at a time – you’ll notice the increase in relief almost instantly!
